In preparation for a video I did this summer for an outdoor adventure company that takes teenagers into the wilderness, I did a couple time-lapse test of Big Sky’s Lone Peak.

I shot these using a Nikon D700, shooting a frame every 15 seconds. I then imported the images into Lightroom, where I batch cropped the images 16:9 and also did some minor color correction. I then exported them to a folder, and then imported those processed images into Quicktime 7 (Pro), using image sequence, where I determined the frame rate for playback. Once the Quicktime movie was made, I then imported that video into to Final Cut Pro, where I added music.

It’s not as complicated as it sounds.

I will eventually post the video once we get song usage approval.
